Solvent method refers to a method that uses capsaicin to dissolve easily in organic solvents such as acetone, ethanol, ethyl acetate, n-hexane, chloroform, etc., and extracts crushed peppers in this single solvent or mixed solvent, and distills the obtained leaching solution under reduced pressure and extracts it repeatedly, thus obtaining crude capsaicin products. It is the most mature and widely used extraction method of bioactive components at present. At present, this method is mostly used for large-scale production in industry, but the purity of capsaicin extracted is low, and the capsaicin with capsaicin content of 6%~10% is obtained, which is not easy to refine, and the production cost is high and the loss is large.
