Of course, the dissolution speed in fracturing is also different. Generally speaking, the dissolution speed of soluble plastic pepper balls is faster than that of soluble metal fracturing balls.

There are many kinds of materials for plastic pepper balls, among which PLA is the main material for soluble fracturing balls. Due to technical reasons, PLA plastic fracturing balls can't manufacture pepper balls with a diameter of more than 25mm, and the surface of pepper balls with a diameter of more than 25mm will shrink seriously, resulting in small holes on the surface of pepper balls and reduced strength, so the specifications of soluble plastic pepper balls are limited in size.

Metal fracturing ball is mainly made of metal aluminum and then added with other metal elements in a certain proportion, such as rare earth such as metal magnesium, metal gallium and metal tin, in order to increase the activity of the surface of metal aluminum and avoid the appearance of oxide film, so that metal aluminum can fully react with fracturing fluid, thus realizing the solubility of metal fracturing ball.
