Degradable pepper balls refer to plastic pepper balls made of PLA materials. The physical properties of PLA plastics are not as stable as those of other thermoplastics, and it is easy to cause defects in the production process. Therefore, the production of PLA plastic pepper balls requires strict implementation of the requirements of work instructions in each production link. There are several problems that can easily occur in degradable plastic pepper balls.
PLA plastic has a very high water absorption rate, so it needs to be fully dried before injection molding. If PLA material is not fully dried, a lot of bubbles will be produced in the middle of the blank of the produced PLA plastic pepper ball, which will seriously affect the appearance and strength of the plastic pepper ball.
The shrinkage rate of PLA plastic pepper ball is relatively large, and the glue inlet of the mold of PLA plastic pepper ball must be opened large enough, otherwise the glue inlet position will easily shrink out of the hole during injection molding, which will affect the quality and lead to high defective rate of plastic pepper ball.
When PLA plastic pepper balls are stored, they need to be vacuum packed in PE bags to avoid air oxidation, and they need to be stored in the dark, and light will also cause the aging and denaturation of PLA plastic pepper balls.
