The modification technology of POM plastic pepper ball material is mainly to add a certain proportion of glass fiber into the material. The toughness of POM material with glass fiber can be more than doubled, and the high temperature resistance can be improved by more than 20%, so the performance of modified POM plastic pepper ball is close to that of PA plastic pepper ball. Because the toughness requirements of POM plastic pepper ball are different, the modification formula of POM material is different. Some can meet the requirements of toughening by adding only 10% glass fiber, while others need to add about 30% glass fiber for modification. In fact, the higher the proportion of glass fiber, the more difficult it is to process POM plastic pepper balls by injection molding, because the fluidity of POM materials added with glass fiber becomes worse, and it is easy to cause the phenomenon that the blank balls of plastic pepper balls shrink during injection molding. It is necessary to increase the temperature of the plastic pepper ball mold to ensure that the added plastic pepper ball blank ball will not shrink, and the manufacturing cost of POM plastic pepper ball with glass fiber will be about 30% higher than that without glass fiber, so the price of POM plastic pepper ball with glass fiber is higher than that of ordinary POM plastic pepper ball.
